Bots 4 – a free text-based strategy game

Bots4 is the most addicting time-consuming game since… well since Bots2 (Yup, there wasn’t a version 3).
The game is really easy to get started in, and until you reach level 20, there will be on screen help to guide you. But just as fascinated you will be at the beginning, just as bored will you be real quick. Pretty soon you will reach a point, where the determining factor for your success will be how much time you spent.

In Bots4 you control a fighting bot leveling up as you gain experience. The game is text-based, so you will never get to see your bot, but you can read about the fights as the take place. Depending on what kind of bot you choose to build, your objective is to either level up, score energy (by defeating other bots) each month) or build the best bot in a given tournament category. Alternatively you can go for the trophy point by unlocking achievements.
You can build as many bots as you like, and even play 5 of them at a time, so you don’t have to settle on one strategy.

The game can be relatively simple, and may only require endless fights or trains, which takes place automaticly by pressing “fight again”. If you are looking for entertainment, Bots4 is not what you are looking for. If, however, you are looking for a game, that only partly occupy you while you try to concentrate on a movie or learning, Bots4 is the perfect game for you.

Depending on which type of bot you wish to build, there can be great amounts of strategy in composing your build. There are a couple of tool, that allows you to experiment to infinity, until you find the perfect build. Then you can sign up for a tournament, to see if your build is really as good as you think.

Bots4 has a pretty active community, which lifts the experience a lot. At some times, there might be 3-4 clans fighting for first place in a given month, and in the final hours of a round, there is usually lots of activity, when everybody is trying to either steal or secure first place. Clans are also a great opportunity to get to know the game better, and your clanmates will often lend you some stars, so you will not have to spend your money buying them.

All things considered Bots4 is a game that you will either be completely addicted too, or unable to find any meaning in.
